About A Macarthur Gurmankin
(a.k.a) "A. Macarthur" a name acquired while a technology consultant working with inner-city public school teachers … teaching the use of MAC (Apple Macintosh) computers as "the preferred" tool for student desk-top publishing projects. After two weeks in the consultant position, teachers were calling me "Arthur," then "MAC-Man," then MAC-arthur and finally, combining my actual first name initial "A" with the Macarthur … came the name that stuck ... "A. Macarthur."
